Lastly, here is Caleb's team. Team "Rock Stars" The guy on the far right is Troy, he's over store operations for every store so he's kind of a big deal. And I love that he totally got into character. He's the one that came up with the team name.
My sweet procrastinating husband remembered about the tournament the night before so we had to search our home for appropriate rock star wear. His jacket was an old jean jacket of mine that we cut the sleeves off of to make him look like a street tough. His heart mom tattoo was pretty awesome, on his right arm there was a skull and crossbones. His "bandana" is a scarf I had from a couple years ago when I went as Foxy Cleopatra. We were content with his outfit but we could have come up with something way better if we had the time. Either way his team won "Best Uniform" and everyone got free movie tickets.
Caleb has been begging me to cook him a turkey so I finally gave in (after he bought it and brought it home). I don't mind eating turkey I'm just not a fan of handling any raw meat. This thing was particularly disgusting to me. The picture looks like a huge gaping wound. Sick! Anyway, Caleb was very sweet in helping me with everything until he was pulling the gravy packet out of the inside of this thing and accidentally hit me in the FACE! Right next to my mouth! Naturally I freaked out and washed my face but I don't think I'll ever be the same again. He didn't understand why I was making such a big deal out of it.
He had me leave the room so he could sever the breast bone after it was cooked but I could still hear everything. I think we'll stick to bringing the mashed potatoes or rolls to Thanksgiving. Caleb said this was the best turkey he's ever had, I was too distraught over the whole ordeal to even try it. It looked normal, except I'm pretty sure I saw an aorta on the plate of "good meat"
Caleb and I went to Halloween USA to look for ideas for our costumes this year and we found some pretty good ones.
Caleb looks so creepy here. The joker freaks me out as it is, but Caleb was making scary eyes too. :)
I really wanted my niece Brooklyn to be a Jazz cheerleader for Halloween but she only wants to be a princess.... go figure.
Some might consider this child abuse, but I find it hilarious! My mom had these little masks to try on but Ashton was not having it. I think he was just upset because he wanted to be a princess too.

Looks like he's roaring. "GROWL!"
Haha! Those costumes for the Dodgeball tournament are TOO AMAZING! Way to go with the procrastinating hubby to pull off such an amazing outfit! I love it! LOL. Ashton's picture made me laugh too. You guys always have so much fun! I miss you!
Ha Ha ha! Oh my gosh! I am laughing so hard at the picture of Ashton. I mean, yes, it is a little mean, but it is so funny! Could those two be any cuter?! No, no they could not!
I hate handling raw meat too! I'm always afraid that I'm going to give my family salmanila and get them really sick. That is so gross that it hit you right in the face. I would have been so mad!
A little jealous of the dodgeball. That sounds like so much fun.
Ha ha! How cute! Love the costume ideas! I didn't even know anything about the dodgeball tournament. Justin hasn't said anything about it. He's so busy with work and school and his church calling. I'm guessing that's why he wasn't apart of it? Hmmm I'll have to ask him about that one :).
that is such a great idea. Halloween is so fun. Good luck on costume hunting :)
ha ha, Caleb's uniform looks tough. You are such a cute wife to help him get dressed and to cook him a nice turkey dinner.
