Puerto Vallarta

So we just finished paying off our Vacation Internation timeshare this month. Caleb is liking the idea a lot more now that it's paid off. When we paid our yearly dues early we got a free trip to Puerto Vallarta
Sun, sand, and seaside living
Blow fish on the beach.

Gross little crabs all over the rocks.

Vendor down by the pool where we got some cute jewelry.
Arnold at the zip-line office.
Caleb getting fresh wish our tour guide.

You just pick out what you want to eat... gross.

This crazy man jumped in the picture with us, then told his granddaughter get a picture with the helicopter.

Sweet Ancy. She was the concierge at Vallarta Torre. This picture makes me laugh. It's like Caleb and Ancy are my proud parents. Haha
I laughed my head off when I saw these pictures on the camera. Caleb was "studying" in the room so I went down to the pool to lay out and read.

Boy, was I surprised to find these paparrazi pictures.
Haha it's like where's waldo.

Convenient palapa bar
I was laying out reading my book when the music started blaring and I noticed all these old people in the pool for water aerobics.
One of these things is not like the other......

We tried to pay with our card but the only accepted cash so we gave them a $50 dollar bill but this restaurant only took pesos. We figured this out AFTER we ate our meal.
We were afraid they were going to make us stay and work for our lunches. Luckily one of the sweet employees took our cash to the exchange place next door and got us pesos. (we didn't have our passports with us which apparently you need to exchange money)
These were some cool sand "castles" on the boardwalk.

This doesn't make sense in English or Spanish.

Famous rock eater or something.

We wanted a picture with the guard with the machine gun but every time we went to take it he would move so I would repositon myself. Finally he started shaking his finger at Caleb but we didn't realize this until we were looking at the pictures. Oops.
I was reading on the balcony.
But really, I was mostly watching the party at the resort next door.
And apparently Caleb caught it on camera. =)

Final day at Vallart Torre.
Caleb playing water volleyball.

HOT HOT HOT salsa. FYI their picante means you're still going to be crying at dinner time.
We were in Mexico and in love.
Beautiful beach outside our hotel.
Senior Frogs.
Long day in Mexico.

We saw dolphins on our boat ride to Yelapa, where we went snorkeling.

I couldn't delete this picture because it is so funny.
Find the photobomber...

Margarita? Si
Dos margaritas? si si
Waiting for our water taxi.

Our boat ride back to Puerto Vallarta.

Got to love the Vaquero Desnudo - Naked Cowboy.
I would much rather be a vaquero desnudo on a beach in Mexico rather than up in chilly New York.
Two awesome things in this picture. =) We took it for Brandon.
All of the streets were cobblestone. Which is neat unless you're walking in heels, then it's just impractical.
The second place we stayed at was nice but small. I read reviews about it beforehand and they weren't kidding. I could almost palm both walls. Okay that's a bit of an exaggeration. But we also had to sleep in separate beds .....

twin beds.
but we managed.
My hair honestly didn't dry the entire time we were there.
I was annoyed Caleb ruined the picture so I told him it was still going on our blog. =)
There's my cute husband.
For my sweet sister Kimbo Bimbo. All of the pastries in Mexico were made by Bimbo.
