Camera Shy

I know I haven't posted anything about Carson yet. I keep thinking I want it to be perfect; he is the sweetest baby and I just want all of you to see that. Anyway, I'll post again soon, but until then here is a video of my silly little boy.

Any time we get the camera out Carson stares at it. It's hard to get good pictures of him doing anything because the moment he see it he just stares. He's so vain... just like his daddy. =)

Help pick Baby Rigby's Name

As some of you know. Caleb and I are having the hardest time finding names we both like. We have 10 weeks left and are no where closer than the day we found out it was a boy.

Take the 2 polls on the right to help us pick Baby Rigby's Name. The first is for your favorite name and the one underneath is for your least favorite.

Here is the list of our combined favorites:

Gabriel (Gabe)
Greyson (Grey)
Jackson (Jack)

Zachary (Zack)

These are the types of names we like. If you have any comments on the listed names or other suggestions we want to hear.

Father's Day Prank

Caleb's little sister, Indee gave my father-in-law this awesomely huge universal remote for Father's Day.
Caleb, Hayden, and Indee each took turns trying to program it, but had no luck. When Mike came in to ask how it was going they told him it was done and handed it to him but Hayden kept the old remote and pushed the buttons when Mike did so he thought it worked.
The little rats seriously laughed their heads off for like 10 minutes. Then started to come up with other scenarios that they could do, like tell him it was voice activated and that he'd have to say what channel he wanted it changed to.
I ended up getting it to work and he's in love. I don't think he'll have to worry about losing the remote ever again.
Later that day we had dinner with my parents. I was lucky enough to have the coolest dad in the world,
and when I see how Caleb interacts with our nieces and nephews I can tell he is going to be an amazing dad.
Every family dinner Brooke and Ash are no where to be found, because they're either outside swinging with Caleb or playing "catch the foot" (it's a game Caleb made up where he picks one of them up and runs around until the other can catch up and touch the others foot).
I love him so much, and I love him even more when I see how great he is with all of the kids. My mom and dad have said multiple times how he's going to be such a great dad. It makes me proud to call Caleb my husband.... and my Baby Daddy. =)
Bonus baby bump picture - 11 more weeks!
I wonder if Baby Rigby is as excited to meet us as we are to meet him. I'm afraid I'll just want to spend all day staring at him and holding him. I feel so blessed in my life.

Newport and Catalina

I'm a little behind on our blogging but here's the pictures from our trip to Cali. We took a ferry over to Catalina Island for the day.
The weather was absolutely perfect.

We took this awesome semi submerged boat where you get to feed the fish. It was really neat.
It was some pretty high tech equipment. =)
It's kind of funny that my picture has 1 fish while Caleb's has like 20.
Clearly his picture was after we fed the fish.
I was surprised how colorful the fish were.
There were only 4 of us on the boat so we could move around to get the best views.
On the way back they let us ride up top.
This huge pelican was right next to us ready to eat small children.
We decided to have dinner at the Irvine Spectrum
We met up with our friend Pete,
we rode the ferris wheel,
then got a churro. Best vacation ever!
We made sure to take this cute picture to bring back for our friends and family.

We finished our basement to help sell our house and IT WORKED. We officially moved out last month. It was a pain showing our house and always keeping it clean, but luckily we only had it listed for about 4 months. We decided to move to be closer to Salt Lake where Caleb works. Plus the 650 N exit is AWFUL!! Here are the last pictures of our Clinton house.

We are going to miss our ward and neighborhood, we've made so many good friends in Clinton. We were lucky to have so much help while moving we finished everything in about 2 hours.

We moved in with my little sister Kim, Jonny, and Baby Claire in Layton while searching for our next perfect house!

Basement - finished product

I just realized that I never posted the pictures from finishing our basement. So here you go.
Bedroom before
Caleb was busy studying for the GMAT during our renovation so I was lucky enough to get to put in the insulation, spackle, paint, and do about 85% of the tile work all by myself. Haha
Jed helping to frame the closet in the bedroom, while Caleb tried to de-pants him.
I sent this picture to Caleb who was upstairs studying and said, "wish you were here"

So he took a break to come see the progress.

Finished Bedroom

Bathroom Before:

We did custom tile around the shower, and it turned out to be pretty easy.

Caleb was outside cutting the tile and came back with this awesome line across his face.

Finished Bathroom

We were able to finish the bedroom, bathroom, and hallway for a little under $3,000. It's kind of funny but the hardest part of the entire project was putting up the dang blinds. Haha
