Weekend Update
I decided to take Caleb to Red Robin to celebrate his graduation. Way to go Caleb!!! With his graduation he was promoted at work to "Staff Accountant" I'm so proud of him.
When we were at Red Robin after we had sat down we held hands. Nothing serious we just both put our hands on the table and reached across. Two seconds after we were seated the waiter came and asked us if we wanted appetizers. It was so awkward. It was like we were in junior high and we had just gotten caught doing something bad by Mr. Daniels. (Rachelle you know what I'm talking about :) ) The rest of dinner was great after that.
Saturday I babysat Scott and Romney's beautiful baby girl Jocelyn while they went to the temple. She was such an angel! When we have kids I want to have perfect little children like her. :)
Saturday night we had a family Christmas party.... boring.... as Marci would say. After the party we went to the Howard's to play games, and eat Kristin's delicious birthday cake (even though Marci ate ALL of the corners, not even the birthday girl got a corner piece)
We played this game Boggle, and it was pretty fun. We let the Kristin win because it was her birthday. :) (Except Matt, he challenged her word "exo" and even got the junior high dictionary to prove her wrong, but she ended up getting the point in the end)
Caleb and Brandon played a pretty intense game of ping-pong while we played Boggle. (I asked Caleb how I should word this and he said "say we had a good time, we missed each other") So poetic.
Momma Rigby: Lingerie
Caleb: "You have lingerie? Sick"

**Warning May Not Be Suitable for Children =) **
This Saturday Caleb was Santa for our ward Christmas party. He did such a good job. We took advice from Justin and Michelle's Halloween costumes and put flour in his eyebrows to make them look gray. :) Brooke would not go near Caleb when he was dressed up. I bummed that the picture I have is blurry but she was crying when I put her on his lap. When we were going through the pictures she said "this is Brooke wearing a dress and that is Caleb wearing a Santa costume" so I guess she figured it out.

Complete Randomness
Brooke finally went down the big slide and even Colby would go down feet first on his tummy. :)Here is Brooke peaking out at us from the tunnel.
Here's my newest nephew Ashton. He is 3 months old, I know it seems like he's older but he was just a really really big baby. He was 10 lbs! Luckily he was C-section :)
I needed this ice cream to make pies for Thanksgiving and I walked in to find Caleb eating it... and not only that but he was eating straight from the container! Little weasel.
Caleb and I had our dads over for the BYU v. Utah game. Caleb is a BYU fan and I am a Ute fan (probably just because Caleb is a Cougar fan). Anyway, we had a good time. I told our dads that they can be bff's now. Neither one of them understood, but their friendship is just budding. :)My friend Krista told me we couldn't be friends anymore if I wasn't a BYU fan so I quickly jumped ships.
This picture makes me laugh every time I see it. Brooke sure did have fun with her watercolor paint. She is ready for a night out on the town here, with her painted on outfit.
When I went over to my mom's for lunch Brooke was playing with the dress up clothes so I took some pictures.

Will you give this to my Daddy?
Will you give this to my Daddy?
Last week I was in Atlanta , Georgia attending a conference. While I was in the airport, returning home, I heard several people behind me beginning to clap and cheer. I immediately turned around and witnessed one of the greatest acts of patriotism I have ever seen.
Moving through the terminal was a group of soldiers in their camos. As they began heading to their gate, everyone (well almost everyone) was abruptly to their feet with their hands waving and cheering.
When I saw the soldiers, probably 30-40 of them, being applauded and cheered for, it hit me. I'm not alone. I'm not the only red-blooded American who still loves this country and supports our troops and their families.
Of course I immediately stopped and began clapping for these young unsung heroes who are putting their lives on the line everyday for us so we can go to school, work and home without fear or reprisal.
Just when I thought I could not be more proud of my country or of our service men and women, a young girl, not more than 6 or 7 years old, ran up to one of the male soldiers. He kneeled down and said 'hi.'
The little girl then asked him if he would give something to her daddy for her.
The young soldier, who didn't look any older than maybe 22 himself, said he would try and what did she want to give to her Daddy. Then suddenly the little girl grabbed the neck of this soldier, gave him the biggest hug she could muster and then kissed him on the cheek.
The mother of the little girl, who said her daughter's name was Courtney, told the young soldier that her husband was a Marine and had been in Iraq for 11 months now. As the mom was explaining how much her daughter Courtney missed her father, the young soldier began to tear up.
When this temporarily single mom was done explaining her situation, all of the soldiers huddled together for a brief second. Then one of the other servicemen pulled out a military-looking walkie-talkie. They started playing with the device and talking back and forth on it.
After about 10-15 seconds of this, the young soldier walked back over to Courtney, bent down and said this to her, 'I spoke to your daddy and he told me to give this to you.' He then hugged this little girl that he had just met and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He finished by saying 'your daddy told me to tell you that he loves you more than anything and he is coming home very soon.'
The mom at this point was crying almost uncontrollably and as the young soldier stood to his feet, he saluted Courtney and her mom. I was standing no more than 6 feet away from this entire event.
As the soldiers began to leave, heading towards their gate, people resumed their applause. As I stood there applauding and looked around, there were very few dry eyes, including my own. That young soldier in one last act of selflessness, turned around and blew a kiss to Courtney with a tear rolling down his cheek.
We need to remember everyday all of our soldiers and their families and thank God for them and their sacrifices. At the end of the day, it's good to be an American.

I'm seriously so blessed :)
Marci, was pretty much the cool kid up at Webs. Here's a picture of her with the "it" crowd. Fits right in... doesn't she?
Marci, and I have such a good time when we're together. But now we have a long distance relationship. Marci, Brandawg and Rockstar moved up to Eugene. Don't worry because Caleb and I are going to visit in January.
It was so cool to have some of my best friends in the Temple with me when I got married. It was even cooler that 2 of them instantly became my sisters. I could not have picked better sister-in-laws. Now when I go back and think about it, the bridesmaid outfits looked cuter in my head :)
Marci and I shared a room (a bunk bed actually) at the Academy of Leadership. Our husbands were away at Lake Powell and it was so good to be with Marci while Caleb was away. It was a great drive home from the retreat, just the two of us. I was thankful she wanted to leave early too, we snuck out of the dance and put our stuff in her car. What rebels!
Since she was in charge we weren't able to be together all of the time but we still made sure that anytime there was an activity we were right there by each other. She was so sweet and introduced me to everyone. She helpped me to fit right in, and have a good time.
I miss you Marsface! I hope your birthday is everything you dreamed. We love you!

Adoption? I think so.
This girl is cute but maybe this will be Kim's baby instead..... yeah probably.
I'm not sure if this was a daughter or son. Either way it's pretty cute.
The only thing this baby has correct would be our pasty skin. Lucky her.
When am I honestly going to do my daughters hair in dreadlocks? Honestly?!?
How in the world did Caleb and I make this hideous redheaded baby? This makes me want to cry. :)
Let me know if you are as concerned as I am now about our own babies.

Worst Day EVER!!!
Anyway, so after the atrocious departure I had to drive myself home trying to blink enough to keep the tears out of my eyes. All I could think about was going back to bed and forgetting that I was all on my own until near the end of the month. Well at least until I flew out there to be with him… which we ended up changing to an earlier date.
That's all the background you need to really get a feel for me and what I was going through. Come Monday morning I just wanted to go to work early and try to keep myself occupied. I went out to my car around 6:30 a.m. and realized that on the way back from the airport I left my lights on and my battery was dead. Not cool.
I tried to get anyone to help me and even pushed my car (in neutral) down the hill to the busier street in hopes that someone would give me a jump… no one did, so I ended up calling my mother-in-law who was so sweet to come and give me a jump. After she helped me she started to get teary eyed and asked how I was doing, not really what I needed at 7:00 in the morning. I told her I was fine and that I just didn't want to talk or else I'd be boobin all day. I brought my cell phone out with me just in case Caleb called and accidentally left it right next to the washer fluid container. As I was driving to work I started looking for my phone and remember when I left it. I quickly pulled over to see a smooched up mess.
I was able to try to look past that and just work but then around 4:15 I got an email from UPS telling me my package wasn't delivered. It was to my work address so I was concerned what package they were talking about. After opening and reading it I got an email telling everyone not to open the UPS-Virus email… oops, I spent the next 45 minutes on the phone with the help desk trying to fix my computer. Well actually it was my co-workers computer, I was borrowing hers when I did it (sorry Sheliece) Luckily the day got over and I'm able to laugh about it now. As long as I don't have another any time soon.

Ode to Kimmie
She now goes around speaking in Sacrament meetings with LDS Family Services about her experience. Kim has made such a change in her life and we are so proud that she has made righteous choices to get her to the temple.
Next time let me drive, okay? I have a better driving record. :)

My little Garden
I started pulling back the weeds from up against the house because that's where you need to spray the bug killer and I just kept weeding until I made a perfect little garden outside out back patio.
