This is the cute custom tile that is in the entry and kitchen.

After-we decided to go with a dark brown on the bottom and we're still figuring out what to put in the corner now that I don't tend the kids and can get rid of the pack-n-play.Before-living room

After- as you can see the decorations are all still in the corner, we haven't really put anything up yet because I wanted to make sure I like the furniture where it was at. Before- Guest bath
Before- Master bedroom
AfterBefore-Master bathAfter- I was a little unsure about the bright blue but now I LOVE it! Plus I absolutely love my adjustable mirror from Ikea.
Before-Master walk in closet
After- It is so nice being able to fit both of our clothes in one closet!
Before-Spare bedroom/Office
After-we decided to make this room our office and get rid of the orange walls. It's perfect with the wood flooring.
Before- Master bedroom
After- we decided to get rid of the red wall and drapes and go with blinds instead. Nice decorations huh? :)
Before-Guest bedroom
After-this room is so bland it bothers me, but I'm still trying to figure out where I want the bed.
Before-kitchen, they had it decorated so cute before that it gave me some good ideas.
After- you'll notice the obnoxiously loud clock followed us, but on the plus side I LOVE my new saddle stools.
Before-Front room
We weren't really a fan of the built in bench so we took it out.
It wasn't too hard to do (mainly because my bro-in-law Jed did it all) but it meant we needed to get new carpet in there. After-this is definitely a work in progress but so far it's looking good. :)
and finally..... before
After! Our lawn was so dead, but after fixing the sprinklers we brought it back to life! We love our cozy home and are excited to start a new journey here.
Some things we learned about home ownership
- if you accidentally leave the front door open, people will come in
- just because the home was built in 2006 doesn't mean the microwave will still work
- the random lake on the edge of your property is not your neighbors problem, it's actually YOUR broken pipe.
- if the previous owners left an awesome grill behind.... there was probably reason
- you know you need to glaze the bathroom windows when Caleb makes eye contact with a neighbor kid while showering.
- you won't notice a leaking ceiling until after you've had all of the carpets cleaned.

First, your house is seriously amazing - I love it. Second, I did notice you didn't mention what city or street this house is in/on...hmmm - I will still find it and "stalk" you, if "stalk" is code for toilet papering. Third, when are you going to come let me see your house. I really do think it is so nice and big. Fourth, I strained my neck trying to look at the bathroom pictures - thanks. haha Fifth, I really do miss you!
